We recognise that every individual is different, so our approach is flexible to ensure we gather the right information about your needs. We partner with you, your support network and healthcare providers, ensuring we understand and support your needs, goals and preferences. As part of our onboarding process we will make sure you have access to the right support every step of the way.
A simple step-by-step process designed around you
If you're interested in receiving supports from Claro, you'll be connected with a Customer Experience Manager who will answer your questions and guide you through the transition process.

We meet face-to-face with you to plan the care and the resources needed to meet your needs. If we don't have available support workers, or support workers with the right experience, we will commence recruitment.
Meet the team that will support you:
Your care team will receive training, so that the supports they provide you is in line with your goals, needs and preferences.
If required, we'll work with your allied health team to access person-centred training for complex conditions.
With your care team in place, your supports will commence. We'll check in with you regularly within the first three months of service to ensure we're meeting your needs.
If your needs change, we'll be here to support you. Your Services Manager is always available to ensure your care continues to meet your evolving needs.
Our registered nurses provide direct clinical oversight, developing individualized support plans and training content for support workers to ensure complex medical needs are met safely and consistently.
Every Claro support worker receives training tailored to NDIS Practice Standards, with practical assessments and annual competency checks ensuring they're equipped to handle complex support requirements.

It is critical you are happy and comfortable with your support provider, and it is entirely your choice who delivers your support. If you are not happy with the support you are receiving you can speak to your support network bout changing providers – your support coordinator is a good place to start. If you do not feel you have anyone to speak to or advocate for you, we encourage you to contact the NDIS directly for escalated support via 1800 800 110. There are a number of steps required to change providers, from reviewing service agreements with your current provider, finding a new provider, giving notice to your current provider, informing your support coordinator or local area coordinator and updating the NDIS portal. If you need support to initiate this process, you can give Claro a call and we can support you along the way.
One of the most important things to look for when selecting a provider is indications of their quality, like NDIS registration. NDIS registered providers have been assessed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and are approved to delivery supports to NDIS participants. Registered organisations meet strict quality, operational and safety standards, including undergoing rigorous audits, and agree to abide by the NDIS Code of Conduct.
